1.2. About HomeHelpNH

HomeHelpNH is a statewide foreclosure counseling initiative sponsored by the New Hampshire Department of Justice, New Hampshire Banking Department and New Hampshire Housing. The initiative’s goal is to help at-risk homeowners find solutions through free, comprehensive pre- and post-foreclosure counseling. The administrative agency for HomeHelpNH is New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority.

HomeHelpNH works in cooperation with the New Hampshire Foreclosure Relief Project, a partnership between the New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Legal Assistance, and the Legal Advice and Referral Center, to help at-risk homeowners receive legal services.  The Foreclosure Relief Project provides low- or no-cost legal assistance to qualified homeowners who are facing foreclosure or foreclosure-related financial and legal problems.  For information on the NH Foreclosure Relief Project, go to www.nhlegalaid.org 

1.3. About New Hampshire Housing

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority is a self-supporting public benefit corporation. The Authority operates a number of rental and homeownership programs designed to assist low- and moderate-income persons with obtaining affordable housing. Since its inception, New Hampshire Housing has helped over 40,000 families purchase their own homes and has been instrumental in financing the creation of more than 14,500 multi-family housing units. 1.4. Right-to-Know Law

New Hampshire Housing is subject to the New Hampshire Right-to-Know law, RSA Chapter 91-A.  Under this law, New Hampshire Housing may have a legal obligation to release certain public records (as defined in RSA Chapter 91-A).  However, not all information is considered a public record.  If required by the Right-to-Know law or ordered by a court, New Hampshire Housing will release information.  New Hampshire Housing will protect information that is exempt from the Right-to-Know law, including personal information to the extent permitted by law.

We will never sell your personal information to any third party.

3.2. What Personal Information We Disclose

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about our website visitors to anyone, except as permitted by law or as otherwise described in this disclosure.

To assist us in offering you services, we may occasionally share nonpublic personal information with companies that provide services to us, such as in-take referral service providers, housing nonprofits, lawyers with the Foreclosure Relief Project and our marketing consultants.  These companies act with us and in some cases on our behalf and are obligated to keep the information that we provide to them confidential.
